Scotland are the first of our two debutant teams this year. A great increase in the number of Scottish participants at last season’s qualifying events sees them able to enter a full team for the very first time. With an outside chance of a semi-final spot, you wouldn’t bet against this keen group of players.
Team Captain, Gary Stewart, who has had notable wins over both Swedish Captain Joel Häger and Irish Captain Glenn Harvey this season, will be joined by Paul Walker who took fourth place at his very first event, the British Open. The remaining players are Robert Lenza and Kevin Peacock who are both yet to make it into the Cup knockout of a singles event but will relish the challenge against some of the biggest names in the sport.
