Next weekend sees the start of the 2018-19 SMPT season, and our first ranking event, the UK Open.
The record field of 192 will be descending on Chelmsford to compete for the prestigious title and a first prize of £500!
With play getting underway at 9.00am BST, on Saturday morning, we’ll be bringing you a fantastic line-up of matches on our Show Mat. Twenty four players from five different nations, some making their SMPT debuts, including multiple English National Champion Matthew Smith, who squares off against fellow countryman and World No 2 James Trott . The stand out game for many will be the repeat of last years final with England’s Dom Reed looking to avenge his 11-2 defeat to Wales’s Sam Harvey
