The top three remain unchanged again this year as Tone Boe, Lisa Frantzen &Gunnar Frantzen make their second appearances. Lars-Rune Lauritzen is out injured and is replaced by John Ingar Larson. Looking to improve on their 2016 performance, the Norwegians have come on leaps and bounds over the last two years. From the record breaking 86-24 defeat to England in 2015 a new band of players are really showing potential.
Captain Tone Boe was the only player to gain victories last year in what was a very tough group. Wins against Ireland’s Tony Bell and Ingvar Nelson of Sweden was followed up with some amazing results in the regular season and she finished a very respectable 21st in the Order of Merit. Can she lead the way again for the team and help them make a World Cup semi-final?
