With just one more event to follow, players are vying for position in the rankings and the order of merit, as well as that all important World Cup spot, but who will walk away with the 5th title of the season?

The fifth and penultimate World Ranking event of the season, the Henselite English Masters takes place on the 4th & 5th of February at Bromsgrove IBC and we're delighted to confirm the details of the draw.

The Short Mat Players Tour are excited to announce that a new event titled the British Open will be brought to you next season. The British Open will be the fourth World Ranking singles event in the 2017-18 season and replaces the Swedish Masters.

This weekend sees the Tour heading back to Stromstad in Sweden for the 5th running of the Swedish Masters. Following the usual mid season break, we're back into singles action with the 4th ranking event of the season. With players now looking to push on in the race for top SMPT honours, who will take the title in Scandinavia?

The SMPT Show Mat will make a welcome return at the forthcoming Swedish Masters, as we have once again selected a game from each session that will take centre stage at the Nordby Supermarket Hallen in Strömstad.
